Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree
- At least 5 years of experience in Product Management
- At least 5 years of experience translating features into consumer or associate facing products
- At least 7 years managing all aspects of a product feature throughout its lifecycle from concept to delivery
- At least 7 years leading cross-functional teams that drive results during product discovery and product delivery
- At least 3 years of experience building and shipping technical products
Responsibilities
- Working with Technology and Business on requirements
- Describing and managing the solution of a specific product or initiative
- Coordinating/communicating between different workstreams
- Leading cross-functional teams that drive results during product discovery and product delivery
- Synthesizing business, market, and platform data to identify opportunities, size them, and turn insights into requirements
- Owning and prioritizing the long-term (6+ months) product roadmap to deliver on business outcomes
- Leveraging modern architecture & great design to identify problem-solution fit
- Evaluating trade-offs and negotiating requirements
- Creating and using compelling, informative artifacts to influence stakeholders (ex. Vision, Roadmaps, Features/Epics, Progress Updates, etc.)
- Understanding of current and future state architecture
- Evaluating and decomposing user needs into technical features and stories
- Hands-on experience with building, implementing, and monitoring API’s
- Identifying and measuring KPIs (Key Performance Indicators)
- Having an end-to-end understanding of features and how they fit into the larger ecosystem
- Coaching and mentoring other Product Managers
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience driving product vision, go-to-market strategy, and design discussions
- Experience managing day-to-day technical and design direction
- Knowledge of multiple functional areas such as Product Management, Engineering, UX/UI, Sales, Customer Support, Finance, or Marketing
- Ability to influence multiple stakeholders without direct authority
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Insurance industry experience preferred
- High sense of accountability and strong problem-solving skills
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as software engineering or computer science
- Agile certifications preferred (i.e., SAFe, Scrum Alliance, Scrum.Org, ICAgile, PMI-ACP)
