Requirements

  • 3-5+ years professional product management experience at a B2C or subscription based startup or with a world-class product team within a larger technology company.
  • 1-2+ years experience as a software developer working with 3rd party APIs and SDKs
  • Experience shipping at least one full product or a significant feature as a lead PM
  • Experience iterating with designers, engineers and other team members on both visual and UX designs to get the details just right.
  • Love and appreciation for particularly well-designed products whether they are for consumers, developers or enterprises.
  • Curiosity about new technologies and big ideas about what the future of technology could look like.
  • Pride in product craft reflected in everything from great product ideas, to clearly written product specs and concise communication.
  • Ability to hit the ground running with a bias for action, optimism in uncertainty and a no-job-too-small mentality.

Responsibilities

  • Define and drive our platform strategy by understanding the technical challenges of executing Applets at scale and ensuring high reliability, low latency, and efficient processing.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering to define operational metrics, optimize IFTTT’s execution pipeline, improving performance, debugging failures, and enhancing system observability.
  • Research developer needs and infrastructure trends to inform improvements that make it easier to build, deploy, and scale integrations on IFTTT.
  • Set clear technical product direction based on system performance data, reliability metrics, and feedback from internal teams and developers.
  • Partner with Leadership, Marketing and Customer Success to align on developer experience improvements, prioritize critical runtime enhancements, and ensure platform reliability meets developer and user expectations.
