Requirements

  • Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Software Management, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 5 years of experience in the job offered or a related software product management role
  • Experience with designing solutions, writing stories for services, and implementing software products built using event-driven architectures
  • Experience writing, reviewing, and executing SQL queries
  • Experience with S3, RDS, and Kafka cloud platforms
  • Experience with databases such as executing queries and designing stories for DB access
  • Experience working with API building, accessing, testing, and writing features, stories, and requirements for building APIs
  • Experience with N-Tier Architecture
  • Experience working with software engineers to create, review, and present System designs for software or products delivered as part of the SDLC
  • Experience analyzing raw data, drawing and reporting conclusions into clear formats for all process owners/management teams
  • 4 years of experience in a Software Engineering role
  • 3 years of experience working in agile environments including participating in and running SCRUM ceremonies such as Daily scrum meetings, playing the role of a product owner, Grooming backlogs, and writing stories for sprints as part of software development and delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Work with business and user needs and Software Development execution and ensure products are built to serve the goals of the organization
  • Work closely with Software Engineering leadership to develop internal products that drive organizational efficiencies through increased business process automation and validation
  • Work with Technical Teams and Software Architects to specify technical requirements of software solutions architecture to meet the needs of the business
  • Define technical and business requirements in order to bring projects to completion
  • Collaborate with core product development as appropriate to support the operational aspects of bringing new products to market
  • Requirements gathering, specification, and support for software development teams
  • Document success criteria, technical and detailed functional requirements (including feature-level and system-level workflows, as appropriate) for any given project and review/provide support to development team to ensure requirements are feasible and fully understood
  • Define standards of value assessment for technical projects aligned to the goals of the business
  • Evaluate and prioritize interdependent initiatives, define and socialize proposed product implementation plans, move to execution and deliver, measure, and communicate success back to the business
  • Consistently advocate for value of technical projects to non-technical audiences through translation to core business alignment
  • Create and update customer facing internal support and training materials
  • Manage communication and deployment integration with interdependent teams adjacent to the Software Engineering organization
  • Create cadence and process to measure success criteria after a feature, capability, or product is launched.
