Requirements
- Three plus years of newscast producing experience required
- A college degree in journalism or related field is a necessity
- Ability to work under pressure, meet strict deadlines and multitask effectively
- Superior news judgment and unparalleled attention to detail required
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the EP to shape morning coverage and ensure the highest quality of journalistic standards are met
- Put together a creative, fast-paced newscast that viewers will flock to
- Utilize strong newsgathering staff including award-winning photographers and reporters
- Uphold and advance station digital objectives
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with newsroom computer systems, graphics programs and video editing software preferred
