Requirements
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years of experience
Responsibilities
- Support the US Privacy Office (USPO) in day-to-day operation of the Privacy Event Management and Response program
- Log incidents, gather details, and perform research and analysis to make event determinations
- Notify impacted Risk Owners and generate reports
- Stay up to date on state and federal privacy regulations and assess their impact on the organization
- Implement necessary changes to ensure compliance and provide training and guidance to employees
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of a variety of products and services, systems, and compliance advisory standards, procedures, and privacy laws, rules, and regulations
- Knowledge of risk management environment, standards, and regulations
- Knowledge of current and emerging privacy trends
- Knowledge of privacy event management
- Skill in using advanced analytical software tools, data analysis methods and specialized reporting techniques
- Skill in using computer applications including MS Office
- Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form
- Ability to work collaboratively and build relationships across teams and functions
- Ability to work successfully as a member of a team and independently
- Ability to exercise sound judgement in making decisions
- Ability to analyze, organize and prioritize work while meeting multiple deadlines
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
