Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of experience, a Master’s degree with 6 years of experience, or a PhD with 4 years of experience in Science, Technology, Engineer, or Mathematics or other related technical fields; an additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • U.S Citizenship is required.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance is required.
  • Experience with system engineering design methods, including requirements analysis and flow-down, specification derivation and interface control documentation.
  • Experience participating in major systems reviews, including SRR, SFR, PDR, CDR, etc.
  • Prior experience selecting workstations and server hardware.
  • Prior experience integrating several different types of hardware into system (designing rack layouts, cabling)
  • Prior experience maintaining a Bill of Materials (BOMs)

Responsibilities

  • Application of systems engineering processes to develop systems that meet customer requirements.
  • Perform Systems Requirements analysis.
  • Management of requirements, including decomposition, allocation, verification, and validation.
  • Support preparations, execution, and resolution of major system design reviews (e.g., PDR, CDR, SVR, TRR, Physical Configuration Audits (PCAs), Functional Configuration Audits (FCAs), etc.).
  • Work with product teams in different disciplines and domains to ensure compliance.
  • Ensure system technical compliance with the program Statement of Work (SOW) and system requirements.
  • Work with the SEIT Lead to oversee system configuration management of the System Technical Baseline.
  • Support the transition of the system to the operations, maintenance, and sustainment stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degrees in Science, Technology, Engineer, or Mathematics or other related technical fields.
  • Active Secret clearance or higher
  • Technical expertise in RF Sensors sensor systems
  • Understanding of DoD systems engineering requirements
  • Requirements database development, management, maintenance experience (e.g., DOORS)
  • Architecture, CONOPS, and use case development using model-based systems engineering (MBSE) methodologies.
  • Experience effectively communicating and presenting complex technical concepts to project, program, and company management, other technical managers, and customers.
