Responsibilities
- Lead material analysis investigations
- Develop metallurgical testing plans and analyze test results
- Create technical reports and/or procedures
- Support Heat Treat Manufacturing Operations
- Lead, manage, and support capital projects
- Effectively communicate results to our internal customers
- Provide technical support to metallurgical laboratory operations personnel
- Support Met Lab process controls and compliance for certifications and audits.
Preferred Qualifications
- 6+ years of relevant work experience
- Advanced Materials or Metallurgical Engineering Degree
- Prior Failure Analysis Experience with Ferrous and Non-Ferrous materials
- Production heat treat support experience
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills
- Experience with component design and/or supporting manufacturing operations
- Experience with Heat Treatment Processes
- Experience in creating technical reports, publications and/or procedures
- Strong Analytical Skills
- Self-starter, accountable, and customer driven with strong teamwork and organizational skills
- Ability to work multiple projects concurrently
