Requirements
- Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement
- Upon hire: Oregon Certified Medication Aide
- Upon hire: Oregon Nursing Assistant Certification License
- Upon hire: National Provider BLS – American Heart Association
- Upon hire: In Compliance with the Department of Human Services (DHS), a criminal background check is required for this position
- 1 year experience as a CMA in a health care setting
Responsibilities
- Provides accurate medication administration
- Observes residents for drug reactions
- Manages medication processes, procedures, storage, and the medication room
- Acts as Subject Matter Expert in knowledge of drug interactions, medication management, and medication administration
- Maintains a safe environment under direction and supervision of a licensed nurse (RN or LPN)
Preferred Qualifications
- 6 months As CNA 2 with Providence
