Requirements
- Must be a highly motivated self-starter.
- Reporting technical information to a diverse audience, both internally and externally to our customers.
- Demonstrated capability to lead technical teams and solve complex engineering problems.
- Ability to be adaptive and take initiative.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
- Must have a post-secondary degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- 4+ year of mechanical design experience, preferably in product design
- Demonstrated ability to develop a design from a set of written specifications
- Ability to use CAD software to design and develop products. Autodesk Inventor preferred.
- Knowledge of FEA concepts and how to apply them using FEA software. FEMAP and NX Nastran preferred.
- Experience in completing independent research and development activities.
- Proficient user in Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
