Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field.
- 6+ years of direct, healthcare market research experience (supplier side a must)
- Can demonstrate a deep understanding of market research needs for pharmaceutical/biotech products across various stages of the drug life cycle
- 3+ years of managing a team.
- Excellent written, verbal, presentation and phone communication skills with the ability to adapt conversations for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Advanced proficiency with MS Office Suite; specifically, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with online data collection tools (e.g. Qualtrics, Decipher, etc.).
- Knowledge of SPSS and/or other quantitative reporting tools.
Responsibilities
- Lead the strategic development, go-to-market, and operations for a pharma focused arm of the Research Team.
- Serve as a product ambassador, demonstrating extensive knowledge of Walmart Data Ventures products and services, including competitive marketplace offerings, to identify and sell solutions to pharmaceutical and biotech clients.
- Able to independently execute all aspects of quantitative and qualitative research processes including research design, questionnaire development, programming, data collection, data analysis and storytelling.
- Proactively troubleshoot complicated issues that arise in an efficient and effective manner, providing oversight on quality control processes at each step of the research lifecycle.
- Manage hiring, onboarding and oversee a team of pharma researchers to ensure flawless execution of all market research projects from design to delivery for research studies across all stages of the drug life cycle.
- Support leadership in developing business and team strategy, including setting individual expectations for direct reports that contribute to the organization’s goals.
- Manage and foster positive ongoing relationships with key contacts within client and Walmart organization, engaging regularly to facilitate adoption and engagement in products for pertinent use cases.
- Regularly provide performance feedback, instill a high level of work ownership and seek feedback from team on challenges and/or barriers to overcome.
- Collaborate positively and effectively with cross-functional team members to build rapport and consistency across total Research Team.
- Recognize and reward the contributions of associates, provide a safe work environment and encourage a healthy balance of work and personal life.
- Effectively develop and use all the diverse skills and background of all team members.
