Requirements
- Experience in leading multiple, simultaneous projects in parallel with successful results
- Expertise in establishing testing guidelines and providing technical advice to team members regarding design and delivery of test strategies to accelerate games to market
- Extensive Software testing and/or development experience
- Familiarity with COTS (commercial off-the-shelf) tools such as JIRA, qTest, Confluence, Perforce/GitHub
- Working knowledge of Testing methodologies, CI/CD, and associated technologies that facilitate robust quality assurance practices.
- Solid understanding of the art and science of Software Quality Assurance
- 5+ years of experience leading SQA teams in a Supervisory or Managerial capacity
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
Responsibilities
- Manage SQA roadmap, projects and team to deliver high quality games on time and within budget
- Help develop and implement comprehensive quality initiatives aligned with the organization’s business objectives
- Build, lead, and mentor high-performing QA teams, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement
- Collaborate closely with product owners, development teams, and other stakeholders to ensure quality standards and project expectations are met
- Mentor team members to identify, assess, and mitigate quality risks throughout the software development lifecycle
- Continuously improve QA processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
- Oversee Test Planning and Execution including creation and execution of effective test plans, test cases, and test scripts
- Engage fully in defect management process and facilitate robust defect tracking and resolution process
- Monitor and analyze key quality metrics to measure team performance and identify areas for improvement
- Drive the adoption of automation tools and frameworks to optimize testing efforts
- Stay up to date with the latest QA technologies and trends and explore opportunities for innovation
- Provide technical guidance and support to the QA team, addressing complex technical challenges
Preferred Qualifications
- Gaming industry experience preferred
- Master’s degree in computer science or equivalent preferred
