Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in signal and power integrity analysis, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience with high-speed digital design and broadband RF applications.
  • Familiarity with SI/PI simulation tools (e.g., ADS, ANSYS, SIwave, HFSS).
  • Knowledge of PCB and ASIC advanced packaging design principles.
  • Familiarity with SerDes compliance methodologies, including IEEE 802.3, PCI-SIG and OIF CEI industry standards, Channel operating margin (COM), and IBIS-AMI models.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations by establishing objectives and schedules that align with the commitments of internal stakeholders.
  • Formulate practical strategies to achieve those objectives.
  • Lead and mentor a team of signal and power integrity engineers, providing guidance on best practices and technical challenges.
  • Review and approve signal and power integrity simulations, analysis, and design methodologies for new products.
  • Work closely with hardware design, PCB layout, ASIC and systems engineering teams to ensure optimal design choices for signal and power integrity.
  • Oversee the development and execution of testing protocols to validate signal and power integrity under various operating conditions.
  • Evaluate and implement state-of-the-art tools for signal integrity (SI) and power integrity (PI) analysis, including simulation and measurement techniques.
  • Lead root cause analysis for signal and power integrity issues and implement effective corrective actions.
  • Ensure thorough documentation of analysis, design decisions, and test results. Prepare and present reports to stakeholders.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to signal and power integrity.
