Responsibilities
- Participate in integrated cross functional teams to provide enhanced understanding of regulatory programs across the bank.
- Support leadership in the development of the departmental mandate by doing analysis and presentations – this includes supporting the evolution of the mandate of the Regulatory Portfolio Management Oversight team, strategy development and on-going process optimization.
- Conduct scenario planning and build business cases to support options.
- Conduct key analytics required to inform strategic priorities, develop insights and recommendations that are actionable and alignment with goals / objectives.
- Provide analysis, recommendations, and assistance with the implementation of process improvements within the Regulatory Project Management and Regulatory Filings team.
- Establish regulatory program delivery practices including delivery model, governance and reporting.
- Generate reporting on the health of the regulatory portfolio that is aligned to governance updates as well as updates in-between governance forums.
- Ensure efficient and effective project delivery through the use of project meetings, follow-ups, detailed and well-thought-out schedule/planning efforts, identification of risks and escalation points, and the production of quality project artifacts.
- Providing accurate and timely executive regulatory delivery program updates using a centralized reporting system. Establish criteria on escalating to management oversight teams to ensure strong attention on path forward to recover / address concerns.
- Support tracking of portfolio results and identify trends and insights.
- Use data to understand the trends for the results and raise any issues with execution accordingly for resolution / mitigation.
- Proactively identify opportunities to enhance reporting to elevate insights for all stakeholders (e.g. OC members, Initiative Leadership etc.).
- Facilitate on-going portfolio oversight meeting focusing on health of portfolio and initiative progress / confidence with remediation journey ahead.
- Act as a primary integrator for Global Security for multiple stakeholders (internal and external) for assigned projects / programs.
- Partner closely with all lines of defense (1LOD, 2LOD, 3LOD) as well as US GRC on the technology portfolio. Develop and maintain effective working relationships within the 2 / 3 LODs as well as regional Regulatory delivery IT Risk & Cyber committees.
- Attend a variety of meetings (e.g. working sessions, governance meetings, committees etc.) across the bank to represent the Regulatory Process & Management Oversight team.
- Identify tools and new ways of working (e.g. Automation, GenAI etc.), partner with teams appropriately to identify and enable.
- Follow and reinforce all risk management and project / program guidelines (e.g. GRC standards) to mitigate the risk of project / program failure.
- Ensure project / program issues and risks are identified, quantified, managed and tracked. Ensure risks, assumptions and constraints are appropriate communicated by teams and escalated when necessary to leadership.
Preferred Qualifications
- Qualifications and certifications in cyber security, information security and/or Risk Management (CISSP /CRISC) are preferred.
