Requirements
- 7+ years’ experience in project / program management, sales support and operations, RFP / RFR / RFQ / RFI delivery, business planning; preferably within the healthcare or insurance industry
- Experience producing results by working within established timeframes, deadlines and understanding next steps
- Strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal, problem resolution and critical thinking skills
- Proven ability to influence and collaborate with business partners at all levels
- Experience presenting to audiences at all levels in an open and transparent way that quickly builds trust and respect
- Highly motivated self-starter with a growth mindset
- Confidence and courage to work independently, execute priorities, identify and initiate improvements without requiring step-by-step direction
Responsibilities
- Lead the new business sales and renewal sales governance process ensuring all requirements are met and necessary approvals secured
- Store and maintain all documented approvals obtained through the sales and renewal process
- Participate in each round of proposal field review to ensure delivery of compelling proposals that address customer needs and requirements
- Allocate accountability by assigning clear responsibilities and expectations to team members to ensure accurate and timely execution
- Coordinate working sessions and collaborate with multiple departments
- Foster cross-functional collaboration and coordination to achieve set goals and objectives
- Adapt project management methodologies and best practices to meet the unique needs of each project and ensure efficient and effective project delivery
- Advise project teams and stakeholders on project management principles, practices and approaches to enhance project outcomes and mitigate risks
- Apply highly-developed project management skills to effectively plan, execute and monitor complex projects to ensure alignment with organizational objectives
- Oversee project deliverables, milestones and timelines to ensure timely and accurate project completion, providing guidance and support to project teams as needed
- Establish deep working relationships with business partners at all levels
- Plan, monitor execute and oversee special projects through completion as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced Medicare and / or Medicare Advantage background
- Internal and / or external healthcare consulting experience
- PMP certification
