Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in product management and/or software delivery
- Proven Leadership: Demonstrated ability to collaborate with large cross-functional teams to deliver results in a fast-paced environment
- Detail Oriented: Strong attention to detail and proven track record of driving process improvements
- Outstanding Communication Skills: Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Technical Acumen: Familiarity with the architecture of messaging systems and CRMs, along with a solid understanding of software engineering concepts
Responsibilities
- Define and own the overarching consumer messaging strategy, partnering with Engineering, Design, Product, and Marketing to deliver informative and delightful user experiences
- Oversee a team of Product Managers, guiding them in setting and achieving ambitious goals
- Work closely with partners across Design, Engineering, Marketing, and Analytics to develop a cohesive Messaging Vision & Strategy
- Establish KPIs, OKRs, and documentation for all aspects of the Consumer Messaging experience
- Communicate progress, risks, and opportunities to senior leadership and other stakeholders, advocating for the consumer messaging vision & trade-offs
- Lead the strategic development and execution of transactional emails and push notifications
- Oversee in-app messaging experiences and the notification feed to drive user engagement and retention
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with CRM systems & other messaging surfaces is preferred
- Experience with Direct-to-consumer video and streaming subscription products is a plus
