Requirements

  • Requires a Baccalaureate degree
  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience with 5+ years of managerial experience, or an advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience with 5+ years of managerial experience.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a team of approximately 8-12 program managers, providing strong guidance, mentorship, and performance management.
  • Drive continuous improvement through creating and refining operating mechanisms, KPI’s, program management tools, and best practices.
  • Ensure strong planning and execution of post-market programs, including alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Drive the implementation of design changes to released products, ensuring minimal disruption to ongoing operations.
  • Develop, maintain, and provide oversight to project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Quality, Regulatory, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Finance, and others, to ensure successful portfolio execution.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with program execution, implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, driving operational excellence and efficiency within the team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with and passion for directly managing and developing high-performing teams
  • MBA or Engineering Master’s Degree
  • Six Sigma Black Belt or Equivalent
  • PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
  • Enthusiasm towards process improvements and change management
  • Demonstrated track record in successfully leading projects to completion on time and within budget
  • Strong written, verbal, and listening communication skills with all levels of the organization.
  • Influence management skills. Ability to influence business senior leaders, functional leaders, peers, and individual contributors
  • Experience supporting cross-functional and cross-regional teams in a matrixed organization, developing collaborative relationships
  • Demonstrated strong business and financial acumen
  • Demonstrated strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Working knowledge of project management methodologies and tools, particularly in risk-based decision making
  • Identifies, manages, resolves, and escalates issues in a proactive, creative, and timely fashion
