Description
We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our engineering operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering actionable insights, engaging with senior leaders, and applying your technical operations expertise to enhance our data analytics processes, delivery, and support broader analytics initiatives. You will play a crucial role in driving strategic decisions and contributing to the overall success of our organization.
Job Responsibilities:
- Guides others on gathering, integrating, and interpreting information from a variety of sources. Leverages data-oriented and analytical mindset to identify cross-functional business needs, translate business requirements into analytics, and turn complex data analytics into actionable business insights both verbally and in writing.
- Communicates and collaborates with cross-functional teams and senior management develop KPIs based on business needs or new capabilities, and drive improvement opportunities
- Documents organization processes, identify gaps or opportunities for improvement, collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop strategic solutions, and evaluate the efficiency of changes of existing processes
- Provides operational support based on needs across supported teams, advanced knowledge of processes, procedures, equipment, tools, and engineering/electronics principles.
- Manages complex plans based on project and resource requirements across technical areas. Manages implementation of and helps develop departmental policies and initiatives to meet operational goals, quality, and cost objectives.
- Tracks and manages metrics and medium-sized budgets to support staffing, equipment, and other operational needs. Escalates issues or deviations in metrics and proposes corrective actions.
- Leads complex analyses to identify where an issue has occurred, makes recommendations for how to address issues, and identifies patterns and implications for work.
- Re-scopes projects, identifies resources, delegates work, and reviews the work of team members in order to address changing timelines or priorities.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, or related field.
• 8+ years of relevant operations experience.
• 4+ years of experience in technology manufacturing or related industry.
• 4+ years of experience working in a large matrixed organization.
• 4+ years in a leadership role with or without direct reports (only applies to positions with direct reports).
• 3+ years of work experience in a role requiring interaction with senior leadership (e.g., Director level and above).
• 2+ years of working with operating budgets, resources, and/or project financials.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manages team project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables for large and/or multiple projects.
• Gathers and authorizes resources based on priorities, new product introductions, equipment efficiency and materials supply.

Level of Responsibility:
• Works independently with minimal supervision.
• Provides supervision to other supervisors/managers who are direct reports.

• Works within the prescribed budgetary objectives of the department.
