Requirements

  • 4-year university degree, preferably in a finance field; CPA or MBA desired
  • 7+ years of relevant finance and management experience, ideally in a professional services environment
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to navigate the firm with excellent senior level stakeholder management experience
  • Outstanding analytic thinking and problem solving skills
  • Strong project/process manager
  • Ability to effectively coach teams and individuals
  • Ability to leverage extensive network to create impact

Responsibilities

  • Overseeing all aspects of office-level finance strategy and relevant activities, integrating across FP&A, client finance (engagement management, billing, collections), finance operations, Pricing and Investment committee support, financial risk management and compliance activities
  • Leading the office’s budgeting and performance management processes; getting “behind the numbers” in identification and implementation of appropriate economic stewardship
  • Delivering performance management information and insights (reporting, dashboards, metrics) to enable leaders to understand performance and take informed strategic and tactical business decisions
  • Driving Partner engagement and communications on performance and other Finance matters
  • Leading or contributing to various regional strategic initiatives as a senior finance leader and develop, in conjunction with senior partner colleagues, initiatives to strengthen the capabilities of the partnership in stewardship, risk and financial management, negotiation and engagement pricing
  • Partnering with global service lines (e.g., Accounting, Controllership, Commercial Arrangements, etc.) to ensure appropriate service levels and outcomes that serve the Office with a focus on continuous improvement
  • Driving efficiencies in working capital and engagement economics discipline
  • Contributing to global finance topics as appropriate
