Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice; Occupational Safety Management; Audit or related field or related field AND 3 years’ experience in the field of Asset Protection, Audit, Investigations, or Environmental, Health and Safety within Supply Chain, Retail, Manufacturing or related field.
- 5 years’ experience in the field of Asset Protection, Audit, Investigations, or Environmental, Health and Safety within Supply Chain, Retail, Manufacturing, or related field.
- 3 years’ experience in Asset Protection or related field in Retail, Supply Chain or manufacturing environments.
Responsibilities
- Lead discussions and present to diverse audiences using appropriate frameworks and tools, while acting as a trusted advisor to business partners by providing effective and timely feedback.
- Identify problems, leverage data to determine root causes, propose solutions, ensure data quality, organize processes for analysis, and create dashboards.
- Assess situations based on departmental goals, document regulatory requirements, identify safety hazards, follow regulatory processes, and implement SOPs and OBW information.
- Coordinate with emergency responders, enforce compliance with OSHA standards, design emergency evacuation plans, train evacuation leaders, and improve health and safety processes.
- Evaluate risk assessment models, establish key risk management benchmarks, and design cross-functional risk management processes.
- Propose and implement security measures, oversee access control procedures, and conduct investigations of internal thefts and vandalism.
- Streamline critical workflows, develop methods for improving controls, and coach team members to improve processes.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1 or More Degreed Certifications (Associate Safety Professional; Certified Safety Professional; Certified Industrial Hygienist; Graduate Safety Practitioner) or Non-degreed certifications (Safety Management Specialist; Occupational Hygiene and Safety Technician; Safety Trained Supervisor; Certified Safety Manager; Safety Director; Licensed Safety Professional; Certified Safety and Health Manager; Construction Health and Safety Technician)
