Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study
- Progressive experience in procurement
- Substantial experience in Pharma/BioPharma
- 7+ years of experience in relevant functions or industries, demonstrating growth in experience, scale, and development throughout
Responsibilities
- Support the definition and implementation of the Drug Product manufacturing category strategy
- Work with service and goods providers for Drug Product MFG services and goods
- Lead discussions related to the Drug Product MFG categories
- Handle negotiations and complex contracts/contracting
- Drive value in terms of cost savings and efficiency savings from category management activities
- Manage and collaborate in category activities to ensure compliance with GxPs and other regulations
- Negotiate contract terms and conditions in consultation with the Law department
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience successfully establishing and driving Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) programs and governance models
- Experience in the MaB, Large Molecule manufacturing environment
- Negotiation and contract management skills
- Experience managing category stage gate processes
- Ability to use external data sources and market information
- Demonstrated success supporting global supply market evaluation processes
- Ability to build relationships with stakeholders and suppliers
- Experience managing category processes and suppliers across a breadth of categories
- In-depth knowledge of the Drug Product manufacturing process
