Requirements

  • Top tier undergraduate degree, MBA strongly preferred
  • Minimum 10 years in corporate development, venture capital, private equity or investment banking with a technology focus (preferably at growing SaaS companies)
  • Demonstrated track record of leading M&A activities or investments at a technology company
  • Ability to drive cross-dept. collaboration and coordination of execution and integration activities
  • Strong skills in strategic and quantitative analysis, project management, coupled with strong communication and presentation skills
  • Driven self-starter with ability to work both independently and in a team setting
  • Strong excel and PowerPoint skills with attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to deliver accurate work product on time
  • Network of industry contacts, venture capital firms and investment banking/advisory executives to increase Qlik’s ability to identify and source opportunities
  • Experience working in a dynamic, high-growth company where adaptability is imperative

Responsibilities

  • Partner with senior business leaders on strategy development, including identifying product gaps, evaluating build/buy/partner options, and collaborating on target selection criteria, with an emphasis on deal execution
  • Manage driving the overall corporate development pipeline, including sourcing new opportunities and managing and evaluating inbound opportunities
  • Manage M&A transactions through execution, negotiation, and due diligence, including financial modeling and valuation
  • Routinely make strategic recommendations and contribute to the team’s thought leadership on inorganic growth
  • Create detailed, sophisticated transaction execution roadmaps and project plans
  • Work with integration lead to monitor post-acquisition integration planning/execution
