Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting
- CPA required
- 7+ years of relevant experience with a mix of public accounting and private industry experience preferred
- Experience building a best in class Corporate Accounting function in a rapid growth environment
- Strong project management skills
- Ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Ability to communicate and present financial information to senior finance leadership and external stakeholders
- Extensive experience in establishing and standardizing policies, processes, procedures, and controls that are SOX-compliant
Responsibilities
- Oversee the timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements—including general ledger reconciliations and account analyses—in compliance with GAAP and other relevant standards
- Build, lead, and develop a high-performing accounting team while fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth
- Drive cross-functional collaboration to streamline financial processes, implement system enhancements, and lead special projects to boost efficiency and accuracy
- Ensure compliance with technical accounting standards, including capitalized software (ASC 350) and lease accounting (ASC 842)
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering to accurately assess and account for capitalized software costs
- Assist in managing the treasury function by overseeing bank accounts, subsidiary funding, and vendor/employee payments
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using NetSuite, Coupa, and Navan is a plus
