Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience with design and development for mission critical systems at scale
  • 5+ years of proven experience in software engineering leadership, with a strong focus on AI/ML and cloud-based systems.
  • Deep understanding of LLMs, AI agents, RAG, and orchestration frameworks.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

Responsibilities

  • Build, mentor, and empower a team of exceptional AI agent engineers to achieve their full potential.
  • Ensure timely project delivery of high-quality AI agents that exceed customer expectations.
  • Partner with product managers, data scientists, and architects to translate business needs into impactful technical solutions.
  • Evaluate and integrate cutting-edge AI technologies, including LLMs, RAG, and orchestration frameworks like LangGraph.
  • Collaborate with external vendors and open-source communities to leverage best-in-class AI technologies.
  • Ensure all AI solutions adhere to the highest standards of data privacy, security, and compliance.
  • Implement robust testing, monitoring, and feedback loops to guarantee agent performance and reliability.
  • Ensure the scalability, reliability, and security of AI agent solutions within the dynamic Workday environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with enterprise-grade AI architectures, API integration, and large-scale automation.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Proven track record to seek out and hire the highest performing professionals to build cutting edge products built on AI.
  • Experience with the Workday platform is a strong plus.
  • Solid understanding and practical experience with software engineering best practices (coding standards, code reviews, SCM, CI, build processes, testing, and operations).
  • You have a strong focus on delivering high-quality software products, continuous innovation, and you value test automation and performance engineering.
  • You demonstrate the interpersonal skills needed to positively influence important issues or decisions in a multi-functional environment.
  • You have the ability to communicate technical complexity in simple terms to both technical and non technical audiences.
