Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in healthcare, life sciences, biotech, or a related field, with a focus on strategic partnerships, business development or client management
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to juggle multiple client/customer interactions and deadlines simultaneously
  • Self-starter who can prioritize tasks and proactively seek solutions or ask for help when blocked
  • Comfortable with ambiguity

Responsibilities

  • Expanding the network of academic medical centers and health systems by cultivating new partnerships
  • Developing a pipeline of prospective partner sites and shaping the partnership strategy
  • Leading meetings with senior health system and/or cancer center leaders, and cultivating long-term relationships with sites
  • Owning end-to-end sales process, including influencing institutional stakeholders to secure buy-in for data access and commercialization agreements
  • Collaborating with internal cross-functional stakeholders to structure and negotiate partnership agreements
  • Becoming an expert on Flatiron’s RWE product offerings and reliably representing our capabilities to demonstrate the value of our partnership
  • Representing Flatiron as a valuable partner at key industry conferences, panels, and networking events
  • Developing and managing metrics to drive success of our sale process and identify opportunities for improvement

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with oncologists and members of oncology care delivery teams
  • Experience working with academic medical centers, large health systems, or hospital innovation offices to fully grasp the complexities of institutional decision-making
