Requirements
- A Bachelor of Arts or Science (BA/BS) in the relevant field and 15+ years of relevant experience (or 19+ years of experience without a degree)
- A US DoD Secret security clearance is required
- U.S. Citizenship is required
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee Interface Engineering activities across the program
- Act as primary point of contact for Interface Engineering
- Uses extensive experience to resolve interface design problems
- Review engineering drawings and documentation on CI/NDI and MILSPEC equipment
- Senior lead for Interface with equipment In-Service Engineering Agencies (ISEA), Combat Systems Engineering Agents (CSEA) and Software Support Activities (SSA) as required
- Experience in resolving element, multi-element, and weapon or combat system hardware, interface, and interoperability issues
- Experience with components and systems interface through cables
- Experience with selecting cable types, understanding of cabling that is approved for shipboard use and the standards and requirements for shipboard cabling with respect to interface of electrical/electronic component, and development of cable run sheets in addition to cable/connector selections based on interface requirements.
