Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Learning Technology, or related field (Master’s preferred)
  • Minimum 5+ years in instructional design or learning & development, including experience with the eLearning tool, Articulate 360
  • Instructional Systems Design (ISD) Certification
  • eLearning Design Certification
  • Membership in professional organizations such as the Association for Talent Development (ATD)
  • Comprehensive understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design models such as ADDIE, SAM, or LLAMA, and project management methodologies
  • Advanced proficiency in tools such as Articulate Storyline, Rise, Adobe Creative Suite, and learning management systems (LMS)
  • Strong consultative skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and align learning strategies with business goals
  • Familiarity with trends in learning technology, including user experience design (UXD) and virtual learning platforms (Microsoft Teams)
  • Strong consultation, verbal and written communication, and presentation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects independently with attention to detail and quality assurance
  • Innovative mindset, with a focus on continuous improvement and learning impact.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct needs assessments to analyze performance gaps and identify learning opportunities.
  • Design and implement instructional strategies aligned with organizational goals and audience needs.
  • Develop engaging eLearning modules, virtual learning, and instructor-led training materials using innovative tools and technologies.
  • Design training programs and initiatives using appropriate learning formats (PowerPoint presentations, facilitator guides, job aids, eLearning courses, participant workbooks, etc.) to drive desired outcomes.
  • Create detailed design documents, storyboards, and learning assets, incorporating multimedia elements such as graphics, video, audio, and animation to increase learner engagement.
  • Repurpose, curate, and update existing content for consistency and effectiveness.
  • Develop learning materials/eLearning courses independently, as well as partner with developers to translate instructional needs into interactive eLearning content.
  • Develop evaluation strategies to assess training effectiveness and learning outcomes.
  • Analyze participant feedback and key metrics to recommend improvements.
  • Build strong relationships with subject matter experts (SMEs), business leaders, and field trainers to ensure learning solutions are relevant and impactful.
  • Provide consultative expertise on learning initiatives and performance support.
