Responsibilities
- Partner with Solutions and Business Development teams to identify data requirements and define project scope
- Conduct optimization modeling and cost-benefit analyses to maximize the effective use of UPS resources
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams and act as a liaison to UPS functional groups
- Identify and resolve operational issues through gap analyses, work measurement, and statistical analysis
- Oversee project deliverables, validate task completion, and ensure projects stay within budget and timelines
- Audit and analyze existing processes to identify areas for potential improvements and operational efficiencies
- Design and implement efficient warehouse layouts and distribution models
- Foster a culture of creativity and innovation by developing and implementing new ideas
- Lead the deployment of new technologies for both physical and digital automation
- Oversee the setup and implementation of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Warehouse Execution Systems (WES)
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of WMS and WES functionalities and their integration with other systems
- Flexibility to travel within the state
