Requirements
- Expert level knowledge of Capture One Pro and macOS
- On-set experience as a Digital Tech both in studio and on-location
- Experience with modern DSLR and mirrorless camera systems
- Broad knowledge of photography lighting & grip equipment
- Color Management standards for capture and color correction
- Strong communication written and verbal communication skills
- Mac based scripting & automation solutions: bash, Applescript, Swift, Javascript
- Enterprise IT desktop solutions and networks
- Familiarity with project management and collaboration tools
Responsibilities
- Act as a technical process leader for photo and video shoots in the Icon studios
- Responsible for the successful application of capture standards and asset management hand off from production to postproduction
- Optimize file management and ensure accurate color management practices
- Troubleshoot technical issues and support photographers, freelance techs, DITs and DPs with advanced capture knowledge
- Streamline processes, reduce production downtime and enhance overall throughput
- Develop, document, maintain, and deploy best practices for all aspects of the digital capture workflow
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Fuji medium format systems and RED video camera systems is a plus
- Experience handling a video capture workflow, including knowledge of managing on set color is a plus
