Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required; HR coursework preferred
- 4+ years of proven experience working as part of an HR or recruiting team
- Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
- High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
- Highly effective interpersonal skills and ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
- Ability to manage small projects and initiatives, with management support
- Proficiency in Google Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, HRIS/ATS systems (Workday and/or Greenhouse experience a plus)
- SHRM-CP or PHR a plus
Responsibilities
- Monitor and respond to the HR email inbox, providing timely, professional support and assigning questions to appropriate team members when needed (payroll, benefits, leaves, Workday, etc.)
- Support the administration of IXL policies and practices
- Lead coordination for all onboarding and offboarding processes, communication with IT and payroll teams, workflows, systems and act as administrator for related systems including I-9 processing and background investigations
- Partner with the Benefits Manager to develop and communicate IXL’s wellness program including coordinating wellness week activities as part of annual benefits open enrollment
- Coordinate logistics for various in-office and virtual events, such as wellness initiatives, trainings, various meetings, etc. including vendor communication, event planning, and employee engagement strategies that foster a positive workplace culture
- Support the execution of management development training programs by scheduling sessions, coordinating materials, tracking attendance, and ensuring follow-up completion
- Ensure all required compliance training is accurately scheduled, tracked, and recorded to meet internal standards and regulatory requirements
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of independent contractors, ensuring proper documentation and tracking
- Conduct research, analyze data and prepare reports as needed to support human resources or other business requested data
- Serve as the primary liaison between the company and immigration attorneys to coordinate visa and work authorization processes
- Lead or participate in HR special projects as needed
