Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s degree a plus.
- 8+ years of progressive HR experience, with a focus on strategic HR business partnering and organizational development.
- Demonstrated experience leading strategic HR initiatives, including talent strategy, organizational design, and change management.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze HR data and metrics to drive data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and influence senior leadership and key stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Strategic mindset, with the ability to think critically, anticipate business needs, and develop innovative solutions to complex HR challenges.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and driving results in alignment with business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted advisor to WEX’s senior leadership team (SLT), providing expert counsel and influencing strategic decision-making on critical people issues, such as organizational structure, talent management, and change management.
- Lead organizational design initiatives that involve conducting organizational effectiveness assessments in partnership with the people analytics team, analyzing current structures and recommending changes to optimize workflows, assessing key capabilities needed for the organization to address strengths and gaps in alignment with business priorities and objectives.
- Lead strategic workforce planning initiatives that anticipate future talent needs, identify critical skill gaps, and develop proactive talent acquisition and development strategies to ensure the organization has the right people in the right roles at the right time.
- Design and implement innovative talent management strategies, partnering with our talent management team, that foster a high-performance culture, including leadership development programs and succession planning initiatives.
- Partner with the People Analytics and Talent Management teams to leverage data and analytics in developing and implementing talent strategies that drive a high-performance culture, and enhance employee engagement. Analyze HR metrics and data insights to measure the effectiveness of these strategies and demonstrate their impact on business outcomes.
- Act as a liaison between HR Centers of Excellence (COEs) and senior leadership team, ensuring alignment of HR programs, and initiatives with business needs and objectives.
- Proactively monitor and analyze emerging HR trends, such as AI in HR, skills-based talent management, hybrid work models to identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement within the organization.
Preferred Qualifications
- HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, PHR) preferred.
- Understanding of Google Suite, Excel, HRIS systems (Workday ideal).
