Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
- 5+ years of professional experience in an Accounting organization
- Intercompany accounting experience at a corporate headquarters, consolidating financial results and eliminating subsidiary intercompany transactions
Responsibilities
- Maintain general ledger for US-based subsidiaries, including preparing, reviewing, and posting journal entries.
- Record and reconcile intercompany transactions, ensuring all global subsidiary intercompany transactions are properly eliminated as part of the global consolidation.
- Assist with global consolidation of financial statements.
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements and footnotes for SEC filings.
- Prepare monthly account reconciliations and resolve variances in a timely manner.
- Identify and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy of accounting processes.
- Ensure strong internal controls around accounting transactions and compliance with accounting policies.
Preferred Qualifications
- SAP and strong Excel experience preferred
- CPA a plus
