Responsibilities

  • Serve as communicator of clear and direct information across assigned studio employees, ensuring everyone understands common goals while addressing individual support needs
  • Deliver consistent communication across assigned studios of ownership
  • Define and develop a clear business strategy to grow sales & profits and maximizes opportunities to generate additional studio volume/revenue
  • Create consistent processes across assigned studios to ensure locations are run efficiently without SGM presence
  • Deliver P&L expectations across assigned studios. Analyze and prepare for cross departmental monthly/ quarterly business unit meeting covering P&L and KPI performance as well as feedback based opportunities
  • Serve as the studio’s strategic leader to assess business performance specific to each studio and work to meet all key attendance, retail, and FuelBar business goals, changing course as needed
  • Motivate and guide teams to ensure each location runs smoothly and meets its goals
  • Mentor new managers in overall training, processes, and community acquisition to aid in their development as well as the performance of their business
  • Work across Operations leadership team and other SGM’s to drive systemic consistency across the market
  • Lead trainings as needed for other managers on new systems, processes or strategies
  • Lead by example and role model a passion for best-in-class training delivery to upskill employee workforce, support organizational learning and development goals and priorities, and show the value that Barry’s delivers
  • Deliver in-depth, multi-day training utilizing company approved training and ensuring consistency is driven throughout all markets
  • Serve as a mentor to GMs and AGMs, support by identifying on an ongoing basis potential learning gaps and/or needs
  • Oversee daily studio operations and all team members working in the studio in alignment with LMS (Barry’s University) process and compliance requirements
  • Serve as the studio’s strategic leader to assess business performance and work to meet all General Manager KPIs inclusive of fuel bar and retail business goals, changing course as needed
  • Ownership of Studio P&L. Analyze and prepare for cross departmental monthly/ quarterly business unit meeting covering P&L and KPI performance as well as feedback based opportunities
  • Strategically schedule team to ensure proper coverage and alignment with budgeted hours to optimize performance
  • Conduct regular facility walk throughs, brand audits to ensure the studio meets brand standards reflective of the scorecard. Manage projects to ensure facilities are clean and updated, working with local and corporate leadership on quick execution of facility initiatives and repairs
  • Display servant leadership while maintaining a high level presence in studio, support business operations as needed to showcase the best of brand skills and mentor employees as well as other manager
  • Leverage systems to manage key priorities to meet expected deadlines
  • Assist with new studio openings when necessary
  • Lead studio team with clear and direct communication, ensuring everyone understands their goals and responsibilities while offering individual support
  • Serve as a line manager, consistently implement performance management across the studio with all employees to support employee development and performance management. Partner with People and Culture (HR) on any performance issues or disciplinary needs
  • Develop a cohesive management team with Assistant General Manager (AGM) Manager on Duty MOD(s), and Facility Leads, to execute goals and initiatives
  • Lead weekly strategy meeting with AGM to review studio performance, as well as deliver feedback in line with AGM’s own development
  • Lead recruitment for studio, partnering with AGM and People and Culture (HR) when necessary
  • Partner with regional marketing support on implementing new brand initiatives to drive positive impact for the business, clients, and employees
  • Lead the creation and execution of monthly marketing initiatives to drive business results
  • Work with Operations team leadership to identify marketing opportunities to maximize the business
