Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in product management or live operations for a successful free-to-play mobile, PC, or web-based game.
- Strong understanding of F2P mobile game economies, engagement loops, and monetization strategies.
- Experience using business intelligence tools (e.g., Amplitude, Looker) to measure performance and guide product decisions.
- Ability to analyze data, build reports, and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, able to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with A/B testing and performance analysis to optimize live features and in-game promotions.
- Comfortable working with Agile development processes and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Economics, Business, Game Design) or equivalent work experience.
Responsibilities
- Support post-launch and live operations strategy, driving engagement and revenue through in-game events, promotions, and new content releases.
- Leverage analytics to monitor game health KPIs (DAU, retention, ARPDAU, LTV) and recommend optimizations to improve player experience and monetization.
- Partner with the monetization and marketing teams to define pricing strategies, economy balancing, and in-game promotions to maximize revenue while maintaining a fair and engaging experience.
- Work with the game design and engineering teams to test and iterate on live features, ensuring that updates align with player needs and business objectives.
- Analyze player behavior, market trends, and competitor insights to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Collaborate with data analysts to develop A/B tests and experiments that inform feature development and live operations strategies.
- Present findings and actionable insights to stakeholders, helping to drive alignment and decision-making.
- Maintain and manage the product backlog in partnership with the Senior Game Product Manager, ensuring that priority tasks are aligned with product goals.
- Assist in defining feature requirements and working with development teams to execute updates efficiently.
- Communicate and coordinate across teams, including art, design, engineering, and marketing, to ensure smooth execution of live operations initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with SQL or basic data querying to support analysis.
- Experience working on live events, seasonal content, or in-game promotions for a live mobile game.
- Passion for games and knowledge of the mobile gaming industry, player motivations, and competitive landscape.
- Demonstrates web3 (open market) economy knowledge.
