Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in fullstack software development with a strong product focus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or the equivalent.
- Experience designing and running A/B tests, analyzing results, and turning insights into action.
- Comfortable diving into both frontend and backend code to deliver end-to-end functionality.
Responsibilities
- Help scale & expand Patreon’s membership monetization capabilities helping creators more effectively grow their businesses.
- Drive A/B testing and data-informed iteration to optimize monetization strategies and user flows.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, data scientists, and other engineers to design, build, and iterate on monetization features.
- Lead development of fullstack features, with a focus on modern frontend technologies like React, and TypeScript, while building reliable backend systems in Python and MySQL.
- Contribute to a strong product-oriented engineering culture by mentoring others, shaping best practices, and championing quality and user empathy in the development process.
