Senior Fullstack Engineer

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
4+ years of professional full-stack development experience, with a strong focus on frontend architecture
Proficiency in TypeScript and React
Direct experience envisioning and implementing design systems and developing reusable component libraries
Strong foundation in state management, event-driven systems, and web fundamentals
Experience with backend technologies (Node.js, Python, or Go) and API design
Familiarity with containerization and orchestration platforms (Docker, Kubernetes) and hyperscalers (AWS, GCP, etc.)
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Self-starting problem-solving approach biased towards action and scope minimization

Architect and own a design system that streamlines development and enables consistency across the platform
Write maintainable, high-performance core components and services as you deliver features end to end, backend to frontend
Explore alternative rendering strategies to optimize the performance of data-rich applications with significant DOM manipulation
Make key framework decisions to ensure that our frontend stack remains high-performing and flexible as our platform evolves
Define clear, efficient API contracts to optimize communication and performance
Uphold and debate code practices and design patterns to ensure long-term maintainability and performance

Experience exploring alternative rendering strategies and optimizing frontend performance in data-intensive applications
Experience working in single-tenant architectures and strong grasp of CI/CD fundamentals
Well-versed in object-oriented design and familiar with functional programming principles
Interest in language and economics
