Requirements
- Motor fuel tax knowledge

- Data analytics (Alteryx, PowerBI preferred)
- Avalara Excise experience preferred

- 6+ years of relevant work experience
Responsibilities
- Supervise fuel tax staff responsible for the timely completion, filing, payment, and reconciliation of fuel and other related tax returns
- Support, prepare, and/or review fuel and other excise tax related internal control (SOX) compliance and financial reporting deliverables including month-end close and other required reporting
- Lead fuel tax business support function
- Research and resolve inquiries from operations and accounting personnel
- Assist with implementation of process improvement initiatives and performance management programs as directed by department management
Preferred Qualifications
- Avalara Excise experience preferred
- Data analytics (Alteryx, PowerBI preferred)
