Requirements
- Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Information Technology, or a related field or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years of experience in cloud financial management, cloud operations, or a related role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and financial management tools such as Pigment and G-suite products
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze cloud usage and spending across all cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) to ensure optimal cost efficiency
- Develop and maintain cloud budgets and forecasts, providing regular updates and insights to stakeholders
- Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities, including rightsizing, reserved instances, and other optimization strategies
- Generate detailed financial and usage reports, presenting findings and recommendations to management and other stakeholders
- Develop and enforce cloud cost management policies and best practices to ensure compliance and financial accountability during weekly Cloud meetings
- Work closely with engineering, operations, and finance teams to align cloud spending with business objectives and financial goals
- Utilize cloud financial management tools and platforms to track, analyze, and optimize cloud costs
