Requirements

  • Must possess extensive experience as a seasoned corporate event organizer with over 5 years of industry expertise.
  • Experience in working with corporate legal procedures for events and comprehension of event legal aspects are required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, event management or a related discipline or equivalent experience.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience in maintaining and building enriching business relationships
  • Strong organizational abilities, encompassing multitasking, effective time management, thorough follow-up, and a keen eye for detail.
  • Proficiency in utilizing the Cvent event management software systems, particularly in the areas of polling and Apps.
  • Availability to attend on-site events, potentially on multiple evenings per week.

Responsibilities

  • Onsite execution of SS&C corporate events in New York City.
  • Plan, develop, manage and monitor all aspects of assigned corporate events/ tradeshows, meeting deadlines and budget demands.
  • Liaise with internal clients to discover requirements and expectations to help ensure client satisfaction.
  • Organize, oversee and execute program efforts including conducting research, making recommendations, contract negotiations, promotional strategies, catering, sponsorship coordination, buy tradeshow assets, managing tradeshow asset inventory, transportation, event logistics, communications, follow-up, expense reconciliation and reporting.
  • Collaborate with the lead generation team’s efforts to identify, produce, report, and nurture sales leads from events.
  • Measure and report effectiveness in order to drive continuous process improvements.
  • Provide excellent customer service and communication to both internal clients and external vendors and customers.
  • Keep accurate records of all event contracts, budgets, and associated materials.
  • Work as a contributor on large enterprise-wide events.
  • Comply with SS&C corporate legal, risk, health and financial requirements and expectations.
