Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience.
  • 5 years of experience, preferably in Risk Management.
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills and the Ability to Communicate with discretion and understanding when confidentiality is needed.
  • Must demonstrate intellectual curiosity, as well as the ability to recognize and identify risks.
  • Must be analytical and possess the ability to interpret and apply policies and must have a working knowledge of banking regulations.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Must be results and goal oriented, Possess sound judgment and Ability to apply logical/critical thought processes when approaching work or making recommendations for solutions.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic work environment that requires multiple demands, shifting priorities, and rapid change.
  • Must be able to maintain independence and objectivity in all aspects of position.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and a Demonstrated Ability to learn applications and internal banking systems.

Responsibilities

  • Understand operational risk program elements (i.e. RCSA, BCRA, KRI, etc)
  • Understand the organizational structure, key management personnel, and primary objectives of the areas supported.
  • Manage and process taxonomy change requests to ensure the GRC platform accurately reflects organizational structures and compliance requirements.
  • Coordinate and lead the quarterly and ad hoc FDE governance meetings, including the preparation and finalization of requests, agendas, and data impact analyses. Manage the participant list, facilitate the meeting, and ensure all required follow-ups are performed efficiently. Ensure meeting documentation is stored appropriately and maintain documentation for audit purposes.
  • Maintain and update comprehensive training guides to support effective utilization of the GRC platform.
  • Assist with documenting process workflows as needed to ensure clarity and consistency.
  • Assist with coordinating and executing UAT testing to validate system functionality and ensure the GRC platform meets business needs and compliance standards.
  • Assist with management and maintenance of the GRC internal website, including reviewing policies, procedures, and other documentation for accuracy.
  • Assist in the creation of training decks and materials and, as needed, participate in training sessions.
  • Continuously look for opportunities for process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the GRC program.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support the GRC program and organizational goals.
