Requirements
- Strong working knowledge of the equipment, processes, and procedures involved in operating a machine shop
- 4+ years of Tool Room/Machining experience working with cutting tools
- Ability to read, understand, and interpret drawings and blueprints
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain inventory management systems for parts and stock materials in our prototype machine shop
- Drive efforts to maintain and repair shop machinery and equipment
- Coordinate closely with Engineering and Operations teams to process custom shop requests
- Oversee parts orders to outsourced suppliers on behalf of the Engineering team, supporting various R&D efforts
- Assist in executing standard shop fabrication and 3D printing requests
Preferred Qualifications
- 3D printing, bandsaw, CNC machining, and welding experience
