Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Mechanical Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, or a related field
- 7 years of experience as a Mechanical Engineer, Agricultural Engineer or related occupation (or a master’s degree and 5 years of experience)
- Employment experience with: (1) Diesel engine fluid systems (Oil, Fuel, Cooling Systems); (2) Pro/E Creo 3D Modelling Software; (3) Casting & Machining Design & Manufacturing (Iron & Aluminum); (4) Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing; (5) Engineering Print Development and Interpretation.
Responsibilities
- Direct and participate in the concept and design of complex engineering product or process projects for release to production
- Contribute to the planning and delivery of projects
- Accountable for contributing to the concept, development, and design of complex components, subsystems, or processes
- Perform complex analysis work, identify design problems, and resolve problems
- Transition from individual contributor to team leadership, focusing on technical delivery
- Work directly with different units, suppliers, customers, and/or other teams
- Communicate technical information in a concise and accurate manner
- Design and promote new components and sub processes; perform needs analysis and initiate ideas; evaluate new products or processes
- Perform product maintenance; keep up to date on new technologies or develop new technologies
- Support and advise other engineers, managers, marketing personnel, customers and suppliers.
