Requirements
- Requires an accredited Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
- Advanced proficiency in written and verbal English language skills
- Expertise in the design and manufacturing of electronic components for off highway equipment
- Working knowledge of two wire ethernet for system network communication
- Component failure analysis and direct and root cause determination
- Develop specification and validation test plan process for sensors
- Creo for solid modeling
- Basic knowledge with Power BI to retrieve supplier information for quality and delivery
Responsibilities
- Follow Cat’s component development processes to create and validate new sensors.
- Partner with Cat’s electronic system teams to specify and test Cat’s future machines and engine electronic systems and software.
- Be the technical lead engineer and subject matter expert for a sensor product line.
- Partner with suppliers to develop and execute proposals leading to best electronic sensors and systems.
