Requirements
- Active Top Secret or higher security clearance
- Valid Journeyman or Master Electrician license
- Ability to pass and maintain a medical clearance
- 10 years of relevant work experience, particularly in electronics/systems installation and infrastructure projects
- Strong working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and experience working in regulated environments
- Proven ability to lead and supervise a team of electricians, ensuring high-quality work and adherence to project schedules
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze and design effective electrical solutions
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, including blueprints and schematics
- Willingness to travel domestically
Responsibilities
- Perform and oversee complex electrical installations on integrated security systems at sensitive government facilities, ensuring compliance with NEC codes and DS standards.
- Work closely with the Installation Manager to assign tasks, monitor progress, and optimize project timelines to meet or exceed deadlines.
- Participate in design reviews with engineers, project managers, and estimators to ensure the electrical requirements are accurately defined and incorporated into the project plans.
- Analyze and design the electrical infrastructure required to support the installation of electronic security equipment, considering both functionality and cost-effectiveness.
- Review and interpret blueprints, schematics, manuals, wiring diagrams, and other technical specifications to determine the most effective installation procedures.
- Plan and execute new or modified designs to minimize material waste, ensure ease of future maintenance, and reduce costs.
- Complete Bill of Materials (BOMs) and execute power/signal runs in accordance with project specifications and industry standards.
- Conduct inspections and quality checks to ensure all electrical work meets government regulations, safety standards, and project requirements.
- Maintain clear and professional communication with clients, contractors, and other team members throughout the project lifecycle.
- Travel domestically to support project requirements in various US locations.
