Requirements

  • 15 years of work experience in the maritime/ports and terminals industry
  • Planning/Execution operations expertise
  • Lean Six Sigma Certification
  • Ability to speak English, Spanish and Portuguese
  • Ability to navigate the management of multiple port locations
  • Ability to promote/influence change
  • Project management experience
  • Support the modeling of P&T acquisitions, equipment layout, rostering
  • Demonstrated leadership and supervisory experience required including significant relationship management in dealings with internal & external customers
  • Promotes collaboration with key stakeholders to achieve goals and objectives which are aligned, specific, measurable, attainable yet challenging, realistic and time bound
  • Exceptional knowledge and experience with data analysis and KPIs

Responsibilities

  • Support improvement in Safety/Environment KPIs for Regional Operations
  • Ensure compliance with HSSEQ policies and procedures
  • Apply safe working practices and ensure that accidents with leave are reduced to a minimum
  • Provide consulting expertise to improve Operational KPIs for the Region including GMPH, BMPH and other process improvement opportunities
  • Engage in Regional initiatives for Automation, Standardization, BPI, Lean and Procurement
  • Actively contribute to Regional Business Development Projects inclusive of proper due diligence and accurate model generation
  • Be instrumental in promoting Corporate values, principles, and practices across the organization
  • Leads, facilitates, and sustains change in order to improve workforce performance and productivity
  • Actively seeks opportunities to drive efficiencies and improve operational performance
