Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline (i.e. Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, Engineering, Science, etc.) is required.
  • 10+ years of progressively responsible relevant work experience is required.
  • Prior experience should include strategic and financial planning process participation, as well as reporting, analysis, and forecasting process ownership.
  • Strong and confident communication skills are required (oral and written), as well as strong analytical skills.
  • Must have experience with IT systems and managerial reporting tools.
  • Proficiency with MS Office and Excel modeling and data management.
  • Responsibility for owning managerial & statutory close processes.

Responsibilities

  • Guide and develop the Operations Finance Manufacturing team while serving as a strategic and trusted partner to the VP North America Manufacturing.
  • Establish strong financial partnerships with Plant Leaders, fostering collaboration to drive business objectives.
  • Oversee and deliver the preparation of reports which summarize performance of manufacturing for North America and China Manufacturing that include: Master Lock (MKE + Mexico), Moen (New Bern & Sanford), Riobel, Therma-Tru (Butler & Matamoras), EMTEK, Yale/August, Larson, Fiberon, and Solar) plants, including business activity and financial position based on past, present, and expected operations and performance on ~$500M+ cost.
  • Lead and deliver the annual N.A. & Asia manufacturing operating financial plan and monthly forecasts, report actual results against forecast and planned performance with clear drivers of change.
  • Effectively manage the communication of detailed analysis into relevant, clear, and concise information that will lead to actionable initiatives.
  • Hold team accountable to comply with internal control policies such as system access, facility access, inventory control, receiving/shipping processes, etc.
  • Drive continuous improvement, streamlining processes to enhance efficiency and deliver faster, more actionable insights.
  • Develop and mentor direct and indirect reports across manufacturing facilities (50+ headcount), responsible for: strategic & financial planning, reporting & analysis, capital allocation & cash flow management, forecasting, the statutory & managerial close, resource allocation & expense management.
  • Develop routine and ad hoc financial presentations as necessary.

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA with concentration in Finance, Accounting or Economics is preferred.
  • CPA/CMA is preferred.
  • Prior experience in manufacturing and distribution of branded goods or fast-moving consumer goods industry is preferred.
  • Strong experience successfully contributing within cross functional teams.
  • Strong experience preparing analysis for presentation at senior levels.
  • Possess a strong track record of process leadership and process improvement.
