Requirements

  • 10+ years of marketing experience, with a minimum of 3 years working across cultural, talent and/or influencer marketing
  • Strong network of relationships and/or history working in New York City is strongly preferred
  • Deep understanding and passion for culture, music, entertainment, the arts, and basketball
  • A consistent track record of success in driving awareness, engagement and loyalty for brands
  • A history of optimally crafting marketing strategies and implementing activation tactics for consumer-facing brands

Responsibilities

  • Create a comprehensive, forward-looking strategy to incorporate our brands into cultural trends and communities, including defining objectives, important metrics, evaluation structures, and budget management
  • Craft an organization-wide model and process for talent & strategic partnerships to guide who we work with, how we work together, what we collaborate on & structure the value exchange
  • Build platforms with brands, influencers, celebrities and cultural entities that drive monetization opportunities across ticketing, sponsorship, merchandise & content
  • Collaborate with Marketing colleagues across Content, Merchandising, Game Presentation and Marketing Management to elevate priority programming via talent and strategic partnerships
  • Work with the Communications team to drive earned media coverage for our initiatives
  • Develop a calendar highlighting key cultural moments throughout the year and build outstanding approaches for how BSE brands can overlay and participate in authentic, relevant ways
  • Book talent for BSE programming, performances & content, craft our event hosting strategy and foster a network of potential brand ambassadors
  • Liaise with leadership across Basketball Operations, Partnerships, Ticketing, Operations and VIP Hospitality to support organizational needs and build cross-functional process & workstreams
  • Consistently expand your network of collaborators, forging deep, sustainable relationships with brands, talent, & executives to grow our reach and impact within the cultural landscape
  • Monitor, measure and report upon the success of cultural and talent marketing programs
