Requirements

  • Ability to be part of an on-call rotation (24x7x365)
  • Requires 5+ years of managing a team of System Engineers, Technical Leads or related
  • Requires 8+ years of experience in Windows systems engineering/architecture
  • Experience with Cloud hosting, computing and storage solutions (GCP, AWS, Azure etc.)
  • Experience with a patching application or Software distribution systems
  • Capable of presenting complex technical information to non-technical audiences
  • Ability to respond quickly, competently, and patiently. Individual must be able to gather information, evaluate options and offer working solutions
  • Powershell Scripting
  • Experience using modules for: O365, Exchange, Active Directory, AzureAD to create, update and manage objects via PowerShell
  • Other scripting experience is a plus
  • AD / Azure AD
  • Experience with hybrid environments – AD connect, syncing on-prem AD with AzureAD
  • Experience working with MFA via conditional access policies
  • SSO – Experience setting up / troubleshooting SAML in Azure, Google Auth and Okta
  • Office 365 / Exchange – Ability to troubleshoot and handle level 3 tickets
  • SaaS Management – Google Workspace, Microsoft, OneDrive, Box, Slack, Asana
  • Operating Systems – Windows Server 2019, Windows Server 2016, Windows 10/11
  • Other – Nutanix, VMWare ESX, GCP, Azure, Pure Storage

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership in the management and development of the Corporate infrastructure, servers, server-based applications, cloud-based applications, SaaS, database maintenance, storage backups and recovery
  • Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability. Monitor and test application performance for potential issues, identify possible solutions, and work to implement those fixes
  • Lead and develop the IT operations and SaaS management teams with the ability to manage and administer on-prem and cloud hosted infrastructure and applications
  • Lead Information Management initiatives for design, documentation, implementation, integration, and configuration of new or revised hardware, software, policies, and procedures to enhance and support defined business requirements
  • Collaborate closely with the head of IT Security and their team to understand and implement cyber related improvements via application tools and hardware
  • Collaborate and partner with leaders and business stakeholders to align infrastructure and operations initiatives with overall business strategy
  • Implement enterprise-wide disaster recovery and business continuity solutions to minimize operational risks
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards, including data privacy and security requirements
  • Continuously evaluate and implement new technologies to improve efficiency, scalability, and performance of IT systems
  • Develop and manage the infrastructure and operations budget, optimizing resource allocation and cost management
