Requirements

  • 15+ years of extensive and progressive transaction experience within a public corporation, investment bank or private equity firm. Prior corporate development experience at a mid-to-large size public technology company is preferred
  • Comprehensive and significant experience across all facets of deal execution, including target identification, analysis, due diligence, negotiation, and post-deal integration, as well as ongoing portfolio analysis and optimization, including through divestitures
  • Independently leading deals, with significant experience in sourcing, negotiating, structuring and closing complex transactions across acquisitions, strategic investments, warrants, and divestitures
  • Exceptional communication, persuasion and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and align with partners and senior leaders at all levels within the organization along with demonstrated ability to run multiple projects concurrently, while aligning seamlessly with product, tech, corporate and related teams
  • Consistent track record in mentoring, coaching and continuous learning, across both direct reports and your own development
  • Track record of continuous improvement in end-to-end deal processes including usage of advanced technology and AI to effect enhancements

Responsibilities

  • Cultivate robust strategic relationships with our executives and business unit leaders, to identify, evaluate, and accelerate strategic investment and acquisition opportunities
  • Lead, drive, and coordinate all aspects of inorganic growth, by helping identify and develop a pipeline of investment and acquisition opportunities by leveraging and expanding
  • Align closely with our strategy and partnerships team, on investment and acquisition opportunities in line with our long-term strategic and operational goals
  • Drive across all aspects of the deal process, including financial modeling, due diligence, structuring, negotiations and closing, as well as overseeing all aspects of post-merger integration activities, in partnership with our integration team
  • Craft, establish and maintain deal playbooks to ensure a robust and repeatable process to sourcing, appraising acquisition opportunities efficiently, from due diligence to signing to closing
  • Lead all aspects of, and ensure the financial success of projects, through meticulous case modeling and due diligence
  • Engage closely with senior leaders across our business units and strategy team, to complete strategic investments and acquisitions aligned with our long-term strategies
  • Conduct regular assessments of our portfolio, and ensure it is optimized through divestitures and other corporate actions
  • Own and lead partner coordination, across our investment and acquisition activities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics or Computer Science
  • Master’s degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration
