Requirements
- 8 years of experience in healthcare technology data product management
- Domain expertise in healthcare data and analytics, including facility claims, prior authorization, and clinical data sources
- Deep expertise in managing, analyzing, and reporting on complex data for actionable insights
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience
- Excellent problem solving and communication skills
- Fervent passion to solve healthcare challenges to improve the lives of others
- Adaptability to thrive in highly complex and changing environments
- Familiarity with enterprise software development, experience with data-based products
- Familiarity with operating in regulated industries (HIPAA, FINRA, CCPA, etc.)
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to keep track of multiple projects simultaneously
Responsibilities
- Own and drive the data product vision, strategy, roadmap, and data hygiene in collaboration with business and other product, design, and engineering leads
- Report back and closely align with Data teams
- Build best-in-class, compliant, and value added data products to help employers administer their plans with accuracy, transparency, and plan sponsor savings
- Empathetically collaborate with business, product, and subject matter experts to understand user needs, gather and execute product requirements
- Center the voice of the customer in your work by pulling from and continually seeking out feedback through interviews, user testing, and other research means
- Serve as a bridge between data and product development to ensure that data and insights are turned into product features that solve user needs
- Be the evangelist for your product area across all areas of the organization to find breakthrough opportunities for shared learning, partnership, and celebration
- Partner with design, engineering, data science, and analytics teams to ensure that features are delivered with high quality, scalability, and efficiency
- Communicate progress and maintain accountability to stakeholders, functional owners, and internal team members
