Requirements

  • University Degree/College Diploma, preferably in Computer Science, or equivalent work experience
  • 12 years’ experience as an IT professional, 5 of which as a Data Architect
  • Proven experience in database logical and physical design, BI and data visualization tools (i.e., Tableau, Oracle, SAP, Salesforce Einstein), Advance Analytics, AI/ML, data source analysis, and overall data management
  • Big Data Architecture – Cloudera or Hortonworks
  • Master Data Management experience with Informatica or other industry vendors like IBM
  • Experience with Cloud is required (AWS or Azure)
  • Data warehousing – Snowflake preferred
  • Data Integration, Informatica iPaaS preferred
  • Database design and experience, Microsoft SQL, Oracle, AWS Aurora, MYSQL, PostgreSQL and IBM DB2
  • Experienced with industry leading open-source tools such as Apache Sqoop, KNIME, RapidMiner, Elasticsearch, Pig, Hive, Kafka etc. (couple of them)

Responsibilities

  • Overall alignment with enterprise data strategy, a key responsibility involves technology solutions in addition to close collaboration with our international partners.
  • Translating business requirements into technical specifications, including data streams, integrations, transformations, databases, and data warehouses.
  • Defining the data architecture framework, standards and principles, including modeling, metadata, security, reference data such as product codes and client categories, and master data such as clients, vendors, product and employees.
  • Defining reference architecture, which is a pattern that others can follow to create and improve data systems
  • Defining data flows, i.e., which parts of the organization generate data, which require data to function, how data flows are managed, and how data changes in transition.
  • Collaborating and coordinating with multiple departments, stakeholders, partners, and external vendors
  • Develop data solutions to store and retrieve company information
  • Design conceptual and logical data models and flowcharts
  • Brings good knowledge of data governance best practices and tools experience
  • Provide business analyst support to business and technology initiatives aimed at improving data quality, timeliness of delivery

  • Excellent problem-solving skills, communication and presentation skills
  • Able to build relationships and work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Architecture management and governance of structured and unstructured data
  • Good knowledge of Data Governance’s best practices and tools like Informatica EDC
  • Experience Data Modelling and Technical Data Analysis
